Inquisition

For my Intro to Game Design course, I created a detective-themed board game, originally designed for single-player. The evolution of the game involved extensive planning and design, with a focus on creating a compelling mystery for the player to solve.

The transition from concept to tangible product was a key part of the project. I carefully designed and crafted all game components to ensure they visually complemented the detective theme. The development process was dynamic and involved multiple iterations based on thorough playtesting. Feedback from friends played an important role, leading to significant changes in the game's art style, mechanics, and even the layout of the game board.

These iterations were critical to refining the game and making it more attractive and visually appealing. The final version of the board game is not only a product of my design and narrative skills but also reflects my ability to adapt and refine concepts through real-world feedback and testing. This project highlights my commitment to creating immersive and enjoyable gaming experiences.
